Tanning with Rimmel London

Heyyy! The time has come where we all want to be looking like bronzed goddesses but unfortunately sometimes we can’t afford to go on holiday or we don’t like sitting in the garden for HOURS trying to get a tan.So I am here today to talk to you about how you can be a bronzed goddess on a budget.

Fake tanning has never really been a thing for me,I’d always just used to prefer being pale because whenever I did fake tan,it would always go wrong. If that is also what happens to you, then I’ve got you covered...

Not that long ago,Influenster sent me a voxbox full of tanning goodies from Rimmel London. At first,I wasn’t too excited because I thought that if I tried them, they would be the same as all the other fake tans I’d tried, patchy, streaky, orange but NO...Rimmel proved me wrong!

The first product out of the 3 that I tried was the self tan lotion. This one caught my eye first because it has chia oil in it which means it makes your skin feel hydrated all day long and that is what I like to see because I have quite dry skin. This one was definitely my favourite out of the 3 because it looked the most natural and it had a gorgeous colour too!The scent was lovely, nothing like a fake tan smell. It didn’t transfer and it was water resistant. The only thing I will say is that my hands and face were quite orange when I applied this but that was my own fault because I hadn’t used a mitt haha!

The next one I tried was the self tan mousse.Again,I was really impressed with this one!It lasted really well, around a week!It dried really quickly, there was no streaks or orange colour. The smell was nice, like the other one.All in all,I really enjoyed using this product.

The last one I tried was the instant matte tan and I’m saving this one till last because unfortunately it wasn’t as good as the other two.It went a little bit streaky and patchy and didn’t really last very well but it wasn’t the worst fake tanning product I’ve ever tried and it was probably my own fault again because I don’t use a mitt.I will probably use it again but I will make sure to use a mitt next time.

If any of these take your fancy then you can pick the self tan mousse and lotion up at Superdrug and you can get the instant tan in Boots.

Thank you,
